Ottoman Bank Archives and Research Center

Ottoman Bank Archives and Research Center was established in March, 1997 in cooperation with History Foundation. The Center which has been in service at historical Headquarters of Ottoman Bank in Karakoy since end of 1999 in Karakoy classified Ottoman Bank Archive, conducted, verbal history works and undersigned many projects such as publications, exhibitions, documentaries, Kolokyum, contest and others.

Ottoman Bank Archive including documents of the period starting with foundation of the Bank until 1950s, has been transferred to electronic medium and made available for researches. There is also a specialized library of 8.000 books at the Center. The library has a collection of publications made on economics, politics and social history of Turkish Republic.
