Application Information
You can apply for a consumer loan by visiting your own Garanti branch or the nearest Garanti branch by presenting the documents shown below. Application forms are available at our branches.
General Purpose Loan (5-Minute Loan), Flexi Loan
If you're a salaried employee:
- Passport for identification
- Residence and work permit
- Evidence of residence or the invoice of a fixed-line telephone registered in your name
- Your most recent payroll statement that contains your social security number and your employer's signature and seal or a statement of income written on your employer's letterhead and containing their signature and seal
- Authorized signature specimens of the company you work for
If you're a self-employed person:
- Passport for identification
- Residence and work permit
- Evidence of residence or the invoice of a fixed-line telephone registered in your name
- Tax registration card
- Chart of accounts or preferably balance sheets and income statements for the most recent three years
- Trade registry gazette or statement of professional chamber registration
If you are not applying for General Purpose Loan through one of our alternative delivery channels, you'll also have to fill out an application form. Application forms are available at all Garanti branches.
Master Loan
If you’re salaried or self-employed:
- All required documents for the General Purpose Loan application,
- Certificate of admission to İstanbul Bilgi University master program
If you’re not employed:
- Salaried or self-employed and immediate relative should apply for the loan with the required documents listed above.
- Student will be the cosigner for the loan
Student must present:
- Identification card
- Certificate of admission to İstanbul Bilgi University master program
- Evidence of residence or the invoice of a fixed-line telephone registered in your name
If the applicant is salaried or self-employed, although a cosigner is not an initial requirement, branches have the right to demand one if required. Cosigner must present the documents listed above required for the application.
Auto Loan
- All the documents required for General Purpose Loans
- Pro forma invoice for the vehicle to be purchased
Mortgage
- All the documents required for General Purpose Loans
Copy of one of the following as applicable
- Deed of condominium ownership for the housing that is to be purchased or
- Deed of easement and structure use license or
- Deed of easement and construction license
Home Equity Loan
- All the documents required for General Purpose Loans
- Deed of condominium ownership for the housing that is to be put up as collateral
Garanti Consumer Loans (except Non-Resident Mortgage) are available only to residents of Turkey.
Foreign nationals living in Turkey may apply for Consumer Loans by submitting their residence permit and tax identification number along with the other required application documents. Consumer Loan term will be limited to the duration of the residence permit.
