Cash Now
Thanks to Garanti's "Cash Now" service, you can sell any type of Mutual Funds (A or B) for cash at any time and without having to wait out the usual notification period. The value of the sale is immediately credited to your account.
- If you'd like to invest a sum of money that you might need at any time in a Mutual Fund that has a notification period...
- But if you're worried about having to wait out the notification period when selling the funds and being unable to satisfy your urgent need for cash.
- And if that's why you avoid these higher-yield Mutual Funds and only buy and sell Type B Money Market Funds...
We've launched a brand-new service for you at Garanti: Cash Now.
What are the features of the Cash Now service?
The most important feature is that when you sell Mutual Funds, you don't have to wait out the notification period: the funds are converted to cash immediately and the only thing it costs you is the interest that accrues on the notification period that you didn't wait out. For example, if the notification period of the Mutual Funds you sell is two days, then two days' worth of interest will be calculated and charged to your account when the value of the shares is immediately paid to you. By taking advantage of Cash Now service, you can convert nearly all of your shares to cash immediately and then sell the remaining ones at the end of the notification period.
To take advantage of Cash Now, you can visit Garanti branches or give instructions from Online Banking (Turkish Internet Branch - garanti.com.tr), Phone Banking (444 0 333 Alo Garanti) or Garanti Paramatik ATMs.
